Confidentiality

Atebion provides a confidential service for both clients and candidates. We are registered under the Data Protection Act. As a corporate member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, we also abide by its Code of Good Recruitment Practice to conduct our business ethically and to the highest standards. 

We ensure that all our staff are aware of and comply with the provisions of the 1973 Employment Agencies Act, related Regulations, other relevant legislation and statutory codes, including provisions relating to equal opportunities and equal pay, taxation, health and safety, data protection, trade union membership, immigration, rehabilitation of offenders, telecommunications privacy and working time.

Vacancies placed with our agency will be treated as confidential.

We will not advertise your vacancies in the Press or on any website without your express agreement.

We will advise you of any potential conflicts of interest before attempting to fill a vacancy.

We will not target companies for search purposes within 12 months of last providing services to that company.

We will only submit or transmit details of candidates, temporary or contract workers in respect of registered vacancies or fields of potential interest.

Atebion treats information about candidates and temporary workers as confidential and requests that such information submitted must be restricted to those involved in the recruitment process and treated as confidential at all times.

 

We will treat information about you as being confidential except for the purpose of filling a vacancy and we will encourage our clients to do likewise.

We will not approach your current employer for a reference without your express permission. Information obtained through a reference will be treated as confidential to the recruitment process.

We will obtain your express agreement before your CV, or any personal details which might identify you, are displayed on any website.

We will not extract CVs from websites for display or submission to clients without the express agreement of the subject of the CV.

We will agree with you the procedure for submitting your details to employers. We will not disclose your identity and/or identifiable employment details to a client without first obtaining your permission, unless you have agreed in advance that we may do otherwise.
